Volunteers Sought for District Auditing Team
Residents with financial or business experience are needed to serve on an auditing team that will review finances for the Newport-Mesa Unified School District.
The 14-member committee will examine spending and make a report to the Board of Education, which has used the volunteer group for the last three years. Applicants must live within district boundaries.
Those interested can apply by submitting a letter to Robert J. Barbot, interim superintendent, 2985 Bear St., Costa Mesa CA 92626. Applications are due by Aug. 14.
