Applicants Sought for 2 City Panels
The City Council is accepting applications for its human relations and youth advisory committees.
The Human Relations Committee, working to unite cultural groups in the city, sponsors issues-oriented town hall meetings. Commissioners also produce a public-access television show. Meetings are the fourth Wednesday of the month.
The Advisory Committee of Teens gives the council a youthful perspective on various issues. Members attend high school. The committee meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month.
Applicants should submit a letter of interest by Aug. 31 to Mayor Peter Buffa, City Hall, P.O. Box 1200, Costa Mesa, CA 92628-1200.
