New Executive VP for First Alliance

Francisco Nebot has been appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer of First Alliance Corp., an Irvine consumer finance company. He succeeds Mark Mason who left the company in May. Nebot was formerly vice president of finance and chief accounting officer at Amresco Residential Credit Corp., and before that, executive vice president and chief financial officer with Shearson Lehman Mortgage Corp.

Todd Burnight has joined Parker Properties Inc. in Aliso Viejo as vice president, general counsel. He was previously an associate with the San Diego office of Mower, Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson & Haluck.

Andrew Downs has been named senior vice president of Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Solutions, the parent company of the Prudential Real Estate Affiliates Inc. in Irvine and Prudential Relocation. He will remain senior vice president of credit and investments for the Prudential Real Estate Affiliates and president of the Prudential Real Estate Financial Services of America Inc.

Jonathan G. Thorpe has been appointed a senior vice president of Gale & Wentworth California LLC in Irvine, the West Coast subsidiary of New Jersey-based Gale & Wentworth LLC. He will oversee development and operation of the company’s California properties of more than 1.2 million square feet of commercial product. Thorpe most recently served as senior vice president for the company’s East Coast operation.

Jeffrey Mercer was named studio artist/designer for RiechesBaird Advertising in Irvine. Before joining the agency, he was with Greenlight Marketing and Communications and the Daily Pilot.

William J. Peacock has been appointed vice president, plant manager of Aluminum Precision Products Inc. in Santa Ana. He has been with the company since 1974.

Russell Hirai has been named vice president, legal affairs and group counsel for Morton Electronic Materials in Tustin. Before joining Morton Electronic two years ago, Hirai was an attorney for Morton’s Automotive Safety Products group in Ogden, Utah.

Trevor Seemann is the new information systems manager for RiechesBaird Advertising in Irvine. He was formerly a systems manager at International Expo Service and the city of Westminster.

Charles Ramsay has joined Auto-By-Tel in Irvine as vice president of dealer and manufacturer relations. He was previously corporate dealer development manager at Toyota’s Lexus division.

Judy Bullockus is the new marketing director for the Mission Viejo Mall. She was most recently general manager at the Saks Fifth Avenue store at South Coast Plaza.

Peter J. Shaw has been appointed a director of Tivoli Industries Inc., a Santa Ana designer, developer and manufacturer of specialty lighting and related products. Shaw is chief executive of Sitematic Corp., a software company specializing in Web publishing and e-commerce for small businesses.

Randall P. Lincoln has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing for Sony Trans Com, an Irvine airline entertainment system and content provider. Lincoln was previously publisher of Business and Commercial Aviation magazine. He has also been director of worldwide OEM sales and marketing for Allied Signal Commercial Avionics Systems, vice president of sales and marketing for Sundstrand Data Control, and vice president of sales and marketing for Global Wulfsberg Systems, a division of Sundstrand. In addition, Debbie Mester was named senior manager of entertainment programming. She was formerly vice president of in-flight entertainment services with Interactive Flight Technologies, and manager of in-flight entertainment services with Matsushita.

Francis Lesaffre has been appointed managing director of European operations and senior vice president of the Cerplex Group Inc., a Tustin provider of service and support for the computer, telecommunications and office automation industries. Lesaffre succeeds Richard Davis, who is leaving his position as president of Cerplex international operations.

Michael W. Somogyi has been named vice president of the Real Estate Services department at First American Trust Co. in Newport Beach. He was previously a property management consultant for the company, and has held managerial positions at Pacific Lighting Real Estate Group, Centre Development, Arnel Management Co., Sares-Regis Group and ARV Assisted Living.
