Kliner Hits Home Run as Reno Beats Vigilantes

Former Cypress College standout Josh Kliner hit a home run, Justin Headley drove in four runs and Matt Schwenke drove in three as host Reno beat the Vigilantes, 15-10, Thursday in a Western Baseball League game.
Reno (8-5) scored eight runs in the fourth inning to lead, 11-2. Headley had a three-run triple and Kliner capped the inning with a two-run homer.
Raul Rodarte (Santa Ana College) had three hits and scored four runs for Reno.
Alan Burke homered for the Vigilantes (5-8), who had their two-game winning streak stopped. Mike Parisi (0-3) was the loser, giving up eight runs, seven of them earned, in 3 1/3 innings.
