SEASON AT A GLANCE: Cox was 22-3 and struck out 247 batters in 196 innings for the Rebels, who won their third Golden League championship with the left-hander in the circle. Cox batted .455 with nine home runs and 31 runs batted in. At one point, she pitched 54 consecutive scoreless innings.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Cox hit a home run over the center-field wall, scored two runs and pitched her team to a 5-2 victory over Cerritos in the Southern Section Division II final. Cox started the week by striking out nine in a 3-2 semifinal victory over Jurupa Valley. In her last three starts, Cox defeated the second-, third- and fourth-seeded teams in the playoffs.
