Housing Group Grant to Fund Caseworker
Irvine Temporary Housing recently received a $25,255 grant from the Orange County Community Foundation.
The money will support a caseworker to help low-income and homeless families with financial assistance, counseling, education and other resources.
“This funding will be critical to helping families before they reach the streets,” said Margie Wakeham, executive director of the housing group. “By aiding families early in their crisis, much harmful trauma to children can be prevented.”
