Those efforts came a day after she won the 100 highs in 15.0 and the 330-yard lows in 45.3, placed second in the high jump at 5 feet and ran on Taft’s winning 440-yard relay team in a 66-57 victory over Cleveland. “I just feel so much stronger in the second half of the race,” Santin said of the 300 hurdles. “Last year I would be hurting when I came off the turn, but this year I’m ready to go.”
