El Camino Real Hit Squad Eases Coach’s Fears

Share

When El Camino Real High Coach Neils Ludlow looked at his team at the start of the season, he saw an experienced squad that was strong defensively at every position.

His only concern was the offense, but any worries about that can probably be laid to rest.

El Camino Real is batting .368, an average bolstered by five players hitting better than .400. Freshman Christina Enea is batting .565 with seven home runs and 27 runs batted in.

Cara Blumfield is batting .550, Kristi Nicklaus is at .448, Jessica Riddle at .436 and Jacqui Goodchild at .431.
