Foothill League tournament--Hart, seeking its ninth consecutive title, shot eight-over-par 368 at Harding and strengthened its hold on first place heading into the final round today at Harding.

Ryan Wyman shot even-par 72, Charlie Smith and Adrian Tan each shot 73, Travis Garruthers carded a 74 and Brandon Wallace shot 76 for the Indians.

Valencia remained in second after a team score of 402. The battle for third, and the final playoff berth, remains tight between Canyon, which has 14 points, and Saugus, with 12.

First place is worth six points, second is five, third four, and down to one point for sixth.

Smith leads the individual tournament by five strokes over Wyman. Wallace is third, 18 strokes behind Smith and Aaron Huber of Saugus is fourth, 20 shots back. The top four reach the Southern Section Individual tournament.

Channel League tournament--Dusty Morton of Buena shot one-under-par 134 for 36 holes at Soule Park Golf Course in Ojai and finished second, one stroke behind Jon Poucher of San Marcos.

San Marcos won the league title and had six of the top-10 finishers, including four of five who qualified for the Southern Section tournament.

Zack King of Ventura shot 138 to finish sixth, Drew Weilbacher of Oxnard shot 141 to finish eighth and Chris Holden of Oxnard finished tied for ninth at 144.

Frontier League tournament--The final round, scheduled for Elkins Ranch Golf Course in Fillmore was be postponed because of unplayable conditions. It has been rescheduled for today at Elkins Ranch, with Olivas Park Golf Course in Ventura as a backup in case Elkins still is unplayable.

Nordhoff holds a two-stroke lead over six-time defending league champion Calabasas.

Jeff Coburn of Nordhoff, Justin Ohye of Calabasas, Jon Ohye of Calabasas and Shawn Andrews of Nordhoff are within five strokes of each other in the battle for two spots in the Southern Section Individual tournament.

Highland 412, Palmdale 445, Quartz Hill 452, Lancaster 546, Littlerock 552, Antelope Valley (DQ)--Jason Broome shot a four-over-par 76 to help the Bulldogs win the Golden League title in a Golden League match at Muroc Lake Golf Course at Edwards Air Force Base.

Highland reached the Southern Section playoffs for the first time.
