Sylmar 3, Grant 2--Jesus Martel’s run-scoring single in the seventh gave the Spartans an East Valley League victory at Sylmar.
Billy Karz had a two-run single in the third for Grant (8-16, 7-8), which had beaten the Spartans (19-5, 13-2) twice this season.
Cleveland 1, San Fernando 0--Max Santillan (6-3) pitched a three-hitter with seven strikeouts for the Cavaliers (16-7, 9-6) in a North Valley League victory at San Fernando.
Santillan also hit a run-scoring single in the first.
Ronald Herrera (2-3) of San Fernando (8-17, 5-10) pitched a five-hitter.
Kennedy 5, Granada Hills 1--Jack Cassel pitched a three-hitter and struck out seven for the Golden Cougars in a North Valley League victory at Kennedy (21-7, 10-5).
Rio Mesa 7, Ventura 1--Richard Martinez hit a grand slam and the Spartans clinched their ninth Channel League title in 14 seasons at Ventura (9-12-1, 4-8-1).
Paul Ayala had three hits for Rio Mesa (20-7, 11-2).
Frank Tinoco doubled in a run and drew a bases-loaded walk for the Spartans, and Greg Ramirez (8-2) pitched a six-hitter with nine strikeouts.
Chaminade 10, St. Francis 9--Jimmy Milkovich hit a sacrifice fly in the seventh and the Eagles rallied from an 8-0 deficit in the first inning to win a Mission League game at Brookside Park.
Chris Martinez of Chaminade (12-13, 4-6-1) hit two two-run doubles.
Justin Dunn hit a grand slam for St. Francis (14-8-1, 7-4).
Loyola 7, Notre Dame 4--The Cubs scored three runs in the sixth inning to snap a 4-4 tie in a Mission League game at Loyola.
Notre Dame (14-10-1, 6-4-1) trailed, 4-0, after one inning but pulled even in the fourth when John Puccinelli hit a two-run double, Chris Morell had a run-scoring single and James Rivero was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.
Crespi 7, Harvard-Westlake 1--Tim Leveque (8-1) pitched a three-hitter with eight strikeouts for the Celts in a Mission League victory at Valley College.
Ron Lauer had three RBIs for the Celts (21-5-1, 11-1).
Antelope Valley 9, Lancaster 2--Chris Wurster two hits and two RBIs for the Antelopes (10-14, 7-7) in a Golden League victory at Lancaster.
Milken 21, Southwestern 0--Oren Krygier pitched a no-hitter and the Wildcats (13-1, 12-0) clinched the Valley League title at Southwestern.
Moorpark 8, Calabasas 1--Brendan Weak had three hits and the Musketeers (17-7, 11-3) clinched the Frontier League title at Moorpark.
L.A. Baptist 12, Frazier Mountain 2--Evan Regenstreif pitched a three-hitter with eight strikeouts for the Knights (16-5, 8-0), who clinched a share of the Alpha League title at L.A. Baptist.
Paraclete 24, Mojave 4--Jeff Arroyo hit a grand slam to help the Spirits (19-0, 9-0) clinch the High Desert League title at Mojave in a game called after five innings because of the 10-run rule.
