Woman Killed as Car Veers Off Freeway
A woman was killed Saturday when her car veered off a freeway transition road and crashed into a concrete divider.
Jamie Christina Bush, 19, of Woodland Hills was driving from the San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor to the Costa Mesa Freeway at about 3:35 p.m. when her 1993 Acura drove down a dirt embankment, said CHP dispatcher Diane Williams.
The car went airborne, struck a small tree, landed back on the freeway and slammed into a center divider wall, Williams said. No other cars were involved in the accident.
