Civic Leadership Development Program Begins With Orientation
A city-sponsored leadership program kicks off its nine-month session tonight with an orientation and meeting with city officials.
The Team Beverly Hills program, led by Mayor Les Bronte and Chairman Lawrence Kohn, will teach the 27 participants how the city functions and encourage them to be actively involved in city government and organizations, said Gisele Grable, who assists in running the program.
The program’s curriculum includes lectures, guest speakers and tours of city facilities, Grable said.
