Low-Income Children Can Get Free Physicals
Free kindergarten physicals and immunizations will be available Tuesday for children from low-income families and those whose insurance does not cover wellness exams.
State law requires that children have a physical or waiver on file before starting school.
Parents should bring each child’s immunization record to the screening, which is set from 3 to 8 p.m. at El Toro High School, 25255 Toledo Way.
The program is sponsored by Saddleback Valley Unified School District and a group of local medical centers and clinics.
To qualify for a free screening, call the school district’s health services office at (949) 206-1219.
