‘Peeves 2’ Gets More Off Vincent’s Chest

TIMES STAFF WRITER

We all have them: pet peeves.

Dan Vincent of Orange seems to have more than his share. He’s assembled a collection, illustrated with his cartoons, in “Pet Peeves 2” (DG Publishing; $10.95), a sequel to his 1993 collection.

What bugs Vincent probably bugs you too. To wit:

* When that jerk behind you at the movies rests his feet on the seat next to you.

* When your neighbor mows his lawn at 7 a.m. on the weekend.

* When you’re riding a bike and your feet slip off the pedals. Ouch!

Vincent, a bar manager at a Laguna Beach restaurant, will sign copies of his book from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at Pacific Gallery, 228 Forest Ave., Laguna Beach.

DG Publishing will donate 25% of the profits from the book to the Jonathan Jaques Children’s Cancer Center at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center.
