Nike Makes the Leap : Finally, a Women’s Jordan Basketball Shoe
Fourteen years after the launch of Nike’s Air Jordan sneaker, we’ve finally got a version for the women’s basketball game. The Women’s Jordan is designed from the inside out, starting with a smaller heel for a better fit and feel, and a seamless interior for comfort. The shoe is inspired by WNBA players Tamecka Dixon and Charlotte Smith, who, Nike says, “reflect Michael Jordan’s style of game.” Now if only they made the same salary as Jordan!
Women’s Jordan, sizes 5-15. $115. At sporting goods stores and Niketown Beverly Hills.
