Santa Barbara 27, Pierce 14--The Vaqueros (1-8, 1-4) scored 20 consecutive points in the fourth quarter to gain their first victory of the season in a WSC Northern Division game at Pierce.

Calvin Zinck completed 20 of 42 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns for Pierce (1-8, 0-5).

Zinck connected with Vaughn Corley for touchdowns of eight and nine yards, the second of which put the Brahmas ahead, 14-7, late in the third quarter.
