The city has opened a collection of “nonessential” records for public review before the documents are destroyed Dec. 31. City officials said the records are “either obsolete, duplicates, contain minimal content, or a combination of these factors.”

Once a year, staff members ask the City Council to approve the disposal of such records. The records are available for review at the city clerk’s office, 33282 Golden Lantern, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays until Dec. 31. Information: (949) 248-3505.
