Plans for the city’s community center complex are expected to move forward Tuesday with approval of a $1.9-million construction contract for a gymnasium. The first phase of the community center complex on Alipaz Street and Camino del Avion opens next month and will include meeting rooms and space for various activities. In addition to the gymnasium, the complex will eventually include a building for the local Boys and Girls Club. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 32400 Paseo Adelanto.
