SEAL BEACH
Police beefed up patrols and asked for the public’s help Monday in finding a man who raped and robbed a woman earlier this month in her oceanfront home.
When officers arrived at the home Nov. 5 shortly after 1 p.m., they found the woman “tied up, robbed and sexually assaulted by the suspect,” Capt. John Schaefer said.
The suspect is described as Latino, 35 to 40 years old, and about 5 feet, 10 inches and 160 pounds; he was wearing a bright red, zippered jacket, blue jeans and a dark blue watch cap, Schaefer said.
To report any information on the case, call (562) 799-4100, Ext. 109.
