TUSTIN
Groundbreaking for Pioneer Middle School, takes place today at 3:30 p.m. in Tustin Ranch. This is the first middle school in more than 25 years built by the Tustin Unified School District. Students from Peters Canyon and Tustin Ranch elementary schools, both in Tustin Ranch, will attend the $16-million, 90,500-square-foot campus, which will accommodate more than 1,000 sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders.
