Gang Dispute Blamed in Fatal Shooting
A gang-related dispute was blamed for the shooting death of a 27-year-old Stanton-area man, investigators said Saturday.
The shooting occurred after 11:30 p.m. Friday in the 11900 block of Beach Boulevard in Stanton, said Lt. Mike Heacock of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. The victim was identified as Minh Nguyen of the Stanton area.
Heacock provided no more details but said an investigation was continuing. No suspects were in custody late Saturday.
