The Los Angeles City Attorney’s office is a disgrace. [Fred] Fiazi has paid his taxes to the city of Los Angeles to keep the city’s sewer system in good working order. All the city of Los Angeles can do is point fingers.
Wake up, Los Angeles. The city of L.A. is just like the insurance companies after the Northridge earthquake. They take your money and when a disaster occurs, leave the policyholder holding the bag. The city has probably spent more in attorney’s fees fighting Fiazi than it would if the city had repaired the home.
The city of Los Angeles should, in good faith, take responsibility for the sewer system problem and give Fiazi’s family their life and home back. Why should they suffer for the city’s mistakes?
