Irvine’s Villa Finishes 29th
UC Irvine’s Christy Villa finished 29th in the NCAA Division I women’s cross-country championships Monday in Lawrence, Kan.
Villa, who finished in 17 minutes 33.35 seconds, made All-American. She is Irvine’s first cross-country All-American since 1990, when three Anteaters--Buffy Rabbitt, Maria Akraka and Rayna Cervantes--were honored.
