Local churches are organizing holiday drives to help those in need. The Pacific Coast Church, on 2651 Calle Frontera, is hosting an Adopt-a-Family program. For more information, call Dave Buchan at (949) 489-2600.
Also, the city’s former South County Church, now the Living Church of South County and meeting in Mission Viejo, is collecting unwrapped gifts and clothing to take to a mission and several labor camps south of Ensenada, Mexico.
