Calvary Chapel (2-0-1) vs. Orange Lutheran (2-1)
7:30 TONIGHT BREA OLINDA HIGH
Calvary Chapel, coming off a 28-28 tie against Riverside Notre Dame, is looking to knock off the Olympic League favorite. To do so, center Tom Chen (6-0, 270), left tackle Jason Gannaway (6-4, 260) and right guard Nathan Huibregtse (6-1, 230) will need a big performance to free big-play man Keith Short. While Dee Meza and Jeff Renevier match Short as the league’s best skill players, the ability of the Lancers’ two-way linemen, Austin Kenney (6-2, 230), Scott Venator (6-4, 235) and Adam Schulte (5-11, 190) to pick Short out of the backfield could determine the winner.
