Temple City 29, Hoover 18--The Tornadoes (0-4) blew a 12-0 halftime lead and allowed 29 unanswered points at Glendale High.
Jason Young scored on runs of seven and five yards in the first quarter to give Hoover a 12-0 lead. Young rushed for 130 yards in 20 carries. He was held to 42 yards in five carries in the second half.
The Rams (2-2) took the lead for good, 13-12, on Jamil Frazier’s six-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter.
Boris Gonzalez had 66 yards in 13 carries for the Tornadoes, who rushed for 207 yards.
