Program to Offer Free Groceries
Low-income senior citizens can receive free groceries twice a month through a new food program hosted by the Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center.
Groceries will be distributed in the morning on the first and third Thursday of each month. The program, sponsored by Second Harvest Food Bank, begins Oct. 15.
Participates must be at least 60 years old with a monthly income of no more than $670 for one person, or $1,109 for a couple.
Seniors must register for the program in advance. A $5 annual fee will be charged.
