Celebrities to Present Teen Video Awards

Share

Celebrities will help Guadalupe Homes for Children at the first VOTE (Video Outreach for Teen Education) awards in Irvine on Saturday.

The VOTE awards are designed to help at-risk children use their voice through film.

Winning film entries, submitted by various California children, will be produced into public service announcements and distributed to local television stations. The announcements encourage other at-risk children to stay off drugs and away from gangs.

Actors James Villani (“Hang Time”), Alisa Reyes (“One World”) and Ricky Luna (“Mickey Mouse Club”) will present the VOTE awards, which were judged by actors Billy Zane, Cheech Marin and “The View” talk show co-host Debbie Matenopoulos.
