VALLEY PAC-8 CONFERENCE
Reseda 35, Canoga Park 34--Joseph Looney blocked Jesus Navarro’s extra point kick in overtime to clinch the Regents’ victory at Canoga Park.
By City Section overtime rules, each team gets one possession at the opponent’s 10-yard line each overtime session.
Reseda (4-3, 3-1) scored first in overtime on a four-yard run by Looney. He finished with 166 yards in 12 carries, rushing for three touchdowns. He also caught a five-yard touchdown pass from Skyler McKnight.
Ramon Torres scored on a one-yard run in overtime for Canoga Park (2-5, 0-4). Torres finished with 76 yards in 21 carries and scored three touchdowns.
