Authorities on Wednesday continued the hunt for a 20-year-old man suspected in the slaying his former girlfriend and another man.

Police believe Luis Munoz, in an apparent jealous rage, fatally shot Diane Velasquez, 17, and her boyfriend, David Rangel, 20, in front of her home Tuesday night, Deputy Steve Sciacca said.

According to detectives, Munoz went to Velasquez’s home shortly before 7 p.m., where he saw her with Rangel. He shot them both and then drove off, said Deputy Cruz Solis. Velasquez died at the home on Laramore Avenue and Rangel died at a hospital, authorities said.
