With the city’s 10th anniversary of incorporation approaching, plans are in the works for numerous celebration events, but volunteers are still needed.
The Niguel Days parade, scheduled for April, will include bands, equestrian teams and other community groups. Laguna Niguel elementary and high school students will be working to develop the theme for the parade and will spotlight the area’s history.
Those interested in participating should attend an informational meeting at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 24 in the View Room of the Parks and Recreation Community Center, 29751 Crown Valley Parkway. Information: (949) 362-4350.
