It's nice to see the boys reap the credit they deserve for kick-starting this whole swing music-hipster revival, even if the pseudo-jazz, Ricky Ricardo-isms and doo-wop version of "Stormy Weather" are all a bit too campy to transcend mere faddism. And yet, to paraphrase what the early ska revivalists said about "art," this music was probably meant for dancing, not reviewing.
Albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor) to four stars (excellent).
