4. Lou Gehrig: 49 home runs, 46 strikeouts in 1936
5. Ted Kluszewski: 47 home runs, 40 strikeouts in 1955
6. Joe DiMaggio: 46 home runs, 36 strikeouts in 1937
7. Mel Ott: 42 home runs, 38 strikeouts in 1929
8. Ted Kluszewski: 47 home runs, 40 strikeouts in 1953
9. Johnny Mize: 40 home runs, 37 strikeouts in 1948
