Ex-Coach Pleads Not Guilty to Possession of Child Porn
A former Highland High School soccer coach has pleaded not guilty to possession of child pornography.
Craig Fulladosa, who coached the Bulldogs during the 1997-98 season, was charged Wednesday with 14 felony counts.
In addition to the possession charges, he faces counts of embezzlement and computer fraud, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Det. Doug Blaydes.
Blaydes said authorities found more than a dozen illicit images stored on Fulladosa’s school-issued computer.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled April 12 in Antelope Valley Municipal Court. Fulladosa is being held at Twin Towers Jail in downtown Los Angeles in lieu of $75,000 bail, Blaydes said.
Fulladosa was placed on paid administrative leave last year after he became the target of an FBI investigation and then on leave without pay, according to Antelope Valley Union School District officials.
The case was ultimately referred to the FBI’s Sexual Assault and Felony Enforcement task force, which gathered the evidence used to charge the former coach, Blaydes said.
