Santa Ana Valley Uses Late Rally to Beat El Modena
Miguel Guerrero’s two-run home run in the top of the sixth inning highlighted a four-run inning and helped Santa Ana Valley rally for a 9-6 victory over host El Modena in a Century League baseball game Thursday. The game was shortened to six innings because of darkness.
Guerrero had two hits and two runs batted in for the Falcons (5-7, 2-3 in league), who trailed, 6-5, after five innings.
Ryan Hertzberg hit a two-run home run in the third for El Modena (4-8, 1-4).
