* South Sunkist Street: Report of a vehicle burglary in the 100 block at 8:32 a.m. Tuesday.

* South Valencia Avenue: A Norwalk resident was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 600 block at 11:20 p.m. Saturday.

BUENA PARK

* Wainwright Drive: A caller reported at 8:59 a.m. Monday that someone had slashed the tires on the driver’s side of a Toyota Corolla parked in front of a home in the 7500 block.

COSTA MESA

* Peppertree Lane: Kayak equipment and clothing worth $1,540 were stolen from a home in the 2900 block sometime Saturday evening.

CYPRESS

* Cypress Avenue: Report of a vehicle burglary in the 8800 block at 3:07 p.m. Sunday.

DANA POINT

* Pacific Coast Highway: A robbery alarm in the 34000 block was triggered at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Brookhurst Street: Two juveniles and a 23-year-old man were taken into custody on suspicion of attempted burglary at a business in the 16000 block at 3 a.m. Thursday.

* La Alondra Avenue: Report of two people involved in a fistfight in a driveway in the 10600 block at 5 p.m. Sunday. Police said each accused the other of starting the fight.

FULLERTON

* Associated Road: Report of a residential burglary in the 1900 block at 2:38 p.m. Sunday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Morningside Drive: An overloaded electrical outlet appeared to be the cause of a fire that ignited a mattress in an upstairs bedroom of an apartment in the 12000 block; reported at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday. No one was home at the time. A neighbor reported seeing smoke coming from the apartment.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Pacific Coast Highway at Magnolia Street: An elderly man was struck by a vehicle at 12:42 a.m. Wednesday while crossing the street. He was treated by paramedics and taken by Mercy Air to UCI Medical Center in Orange. The unidentified man remains in critical condition. Police do not believe that the driver, who was traveling northbound, was under the influence or speeding, but the investigation is ongoing.

IRVINE

* West Yale Loop: Report of a $200 bicycle stolen from a middle school in the 600 block at 7:46 a.m. Monday; the bike’s owner had lent it to a friend, who then left it unlocked at the school.

LAGUNA BEACH

* South Coast Highway: A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1200 block at 8:04 a.m. Sunday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Ridge Route Drive: Two people, one of them armed with a handgun, robbed a furniture store in the 23400 block at noon Tuesday and stole about $700 in cash and jewelry from the store owner and one employee. There were no injuries and no one else was in the store at the time.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Mira Vista: Deputies responded to a disturbance call regarding a party in the 29000 block at 11:15 p.m. Sunday.

LAGUNA WOODS

* West Imperial Highway: Report of an auto theft in the 1900 block at 8:55 p.m. Sunday.

LAKE FOREST

* Cavanaugh Road: Report of a suspicious person in the 23000 block at 9:09 p.m. Monday.

LA PALMA

* Bourbon Lane: A woman complained at 3:36 p.m. Monday that neighborhood children were yelling and screaming as they played for several hours, and that the noise was preventing her from getting doctor-prescribed bed rest. Police spoke to the children’s parents.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Tarawa Drive: The owner of a beige Ford Aerostar parked at the corner of Howard Avenue said the vehicle had been damaged in a hit-and-run; reported at 11 a.m. Sunday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Jeronimo Road at Alicia Parkway: Deputies responded to a traffic collision with injuries at 2:14 p.m. Tuesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Bayfront Drive: A mountain bike worth $450 was stolen from a home in the 700 block Monday evening.

ORANGE

* East Sycamore Avenue: Residents said that more than $400 worth of items were stolen from their yard in the 2200 block; reported at 8:10 a.m. Saturday.

PLACENTIA

* North Bradford Avenue: Report of a commercial burglary in the 500 block at 8:51 a.m. Tuesday; a floor cleaning machine was taken from Valencia High School.

* South Rose Drive: Report of a residential burglary in the 200 block at 9:35 a.m. Tuesday; $700 worth of jewelry was stolen.

* Camino de Estrella: A robbery alarm in the 27000 block was triggered at 10:32 a.m. Monday.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Paseo Pamela: A robbery alarm in the 26000 block was triggered at 9:22 p.m. Sunday.

SANTA ANA

* North Van Ness Avenue: Report that four men robbed a person at gunpoint and fled with $150 in cash in the 1200 block at 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

SEAL BEACH

* Rose Street: A man told police someone had come to his door at 6:30 a.m. Saturday to ask if he wanted his trees trimmed. The man found it suspicious because he had no trees in his frontyard.

STANTON

* Cerritos Avenue: Report of a burglary with an audible alarm in the 7000 block at 6:09 p.m. Tuesday.

* Beach Boulevard: Report of a burglary with an audible alarm in the 10000 block at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

TUSTIN

* Nisson Road: Police advised residents to turn down the volume of their radio in the 1600 block at 11:43 p.m. Sunday.

* Abbott Lane: Report of a disturbance in the 18000 block at 9:13 a.m. Monday.

WESTMINSTER

* Cherry Street: Police received a call about three transients in an abandoned house in the 13900 block at 8:57 p.m. Wednesday. Officers arrested one, a 63-year-old man, on outstanding warrants and asked the others to leave.

* Debi Lane: Report of a petty theft in the 18000 block at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.
