City Council members will decide the city’s position on the Orange County Fire Authority Equity Study at tonight’s meeting. Among the options are rejecting study recommendations that include changing the calculation methods for the costs of services. City Manager Terry Matz said the city shouldn’t change how it pays for emergency services: “We just don’t think there’s a practical way to determine equity.” The council meets at 6:30 p.m. in chambers, 7800 Katella Ave.
