Tonsillitis Puts Rice Status in Doubt

Share

Forward Glen Rice, who sat out the last two games because of tonsillitis, showed up for but did not participate in practice on Thursday, saying that his tonsils were still swollen and that he did not know how much he could play Saturday against the Utah Jazz at Salt Lake City.

“In bed most of the time,” he said. “Get up and move around a little bit, so I won’t get too out of whack. But basically just trying to conserve as much energy as possible.”
