Blades Even Series With Ice Dogs, 4-0

Nick Naumenko had a goal and two assists Thursday as the Kansas City Blades defeated the Ice Dogs, 4-0, at Long Beach Arena, evening their International Hockey League playoff series at a game apiece.
The deciding game in the best-of-three, first-round series will be Sunday at 6 p.m. at Long Beach.
The Blades got first-period goals from Lonnie Loach, Naumenko and Jason Cirone before a crowd of 2,803.
Kansas City goaltender Patrick Lalime, who took the loss in Game 1, stopped 37 shots.
