Former “Beverly Hills, 90210” heartthrob Jason Priestley was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving early Friday after his car crashed in Hollywood and injured his passenger, police said.

Priestley, 30, was driving a car that crashed into trash cans in the 2200 block of Canyon Drive about 12:30 a.m., said LAPD spokesman Guillermo Campos. The car struck a power pole and another set of trash cans before hitting an empty car parked on the street, Campos said.

Priestley’s passenger, Chad Cook of Hollywood, 27, broke his right arm and was treated at a local hospital, authorities said.

Police said Priestley showed signs of intoxication and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and causing injury, a felony. He posted $50,000 bond and was released from jail at the LAPD Hollywood Division shortly after 4 a.m. Results of his blood-alcohol test were not available at midday Friday, said LAPD spokesman Charles Rodriguez.
