MISSION VIEJO
A construction project to improve the flow of traffic along Alicia Parkway where it intersects at Via Fabricante and Jeronimo will begin in January. The project, approved by the City Council on Monday, will place additional left-turn lanes at both intersections and extra right-turn lanes at the Jeronimo intersection.
The number of left-turn lanes at the intersection of Jeronimo and Alicia will be increased from one to two on each leg of the intersection, with the exception of northbound Jeronimo, which already has the dual turn lanes.
The project will also add another left-turn lane on the eastbound side of Alicia at Via Fabricante.
