BOYS’ BASKETBALL

La Canada 45, Nogales 43--Jordan Crane’s two free throws with four seconds left lifted the Spartans to a quarterfinal victory in the Arroyo tournament.

Jordan Ballard had 14 points for the Spartans (4-0). Mark Moore added nine points and had 10 rebounds.

Campbell Hall 53, Peninsula 44--The Vikings rallied from a five-point, fourth-quarter deficit, holding the Panthers without a field goal the final 3:30 to win a Beverly Hills tournament quarterfinal game.

Greg Drobnick sank two free throws with three minutes left to put Campbell Hall (3-1) ahead to stay.

Hassan Bassiri had 20 points and freshman Robert Locke added 14 points for the Vikings.

Montclair Prep 73, Malibu 38--Andre Freeman scored 20 points and Will Sheslow had 16 points for the Mounties in a quarterfinal victory at the Montclair Prep tournament.

Sheslow also had seven assists. Josiah Johnson had 17 points and 11 rebounds for Montclair Prep (3-0).
