Clues Sought in Woman’s Slaying in Her Driveway
Los Angeles County sheriff’s investigators say they have no suspects or motives in the shooting death of a 62-year-old woman outside her home.
Carmen Vasquez was getting into her car around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday when she was shot several times in the upper body, according to sheriff’s officials.
Her husband ran out of the couple’s house, located in the 18800 block of Horst Avenue, and found his wife lying in the driveway, bleeding. She died a short time later at a local hospital.
Officials ask that anyone with information call (323) 890-5500.
