THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Tuesday:

BREA

* Associated Road at Imperial Highway: An injury traffic accident was reported at 2:26 p.m. Sunday.

* Brea Mall: A grand theft was reported in the 300 block at 9:11 p.m. Sunday.

* West Central Avenue at North Puente Street: An injury traffic accident was reported at 9:52 a.m. Sunday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* La Paloma Avenue: After being evicted, tenants stole property from the landlord’s house in the 8900 block at 3:57 p.m. Monday.

* Ellis Avenue: Someone smashed a glass door of a business in the 9900 block at 6:27 a.m. Sunday. Computer equipment was moved, but nothing was stolen.

* Spruce Street: A residence was burglarized in the 16300 block at 10:03 a.m. Sunday.

FULLERTON

* Associated Road: An auto theft was reported in the 2400 block at 4:43 p.m. Monday.

* North Euclid Street: A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 1200 block at 11:13 a.m. Monday.

* North Gilbert Street: An auto theft was reported in the 500 block at 3:34 p.m. Monday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Westlake Street and Paloma Avenue: A report of shots fired at 9:08 p.m. Dec. 7. Police found fired shell casings at the intersection but no victims or witnesses were located.

LA HABRA

* Cobblestone Road: A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 1200 block at 8:41 p.m. Saturday.

* West Country Hills Drive: A structure fire was reported in the 300 block at 2:18 p.m. Friday.

* South Euclid Street: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1300 block at 5:28 p.m. Friday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Eastbluff Drive: Kitchenware worth $690 was stolen from a home in the 2100 block between Saturday and Monday.

* Main Street: A cellular phone worth $200 was stolen from a car in the 300 block between 3 and 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

* West Coast Highway: A cellular phone worth $200 was stolen from a car in the 2300 block between 10 and 11 p.m. Sunday.

ORANGE

* City Boulevard West: A robbery was reported at 12:15 a.m. Friday.

* North Glassell Street: A burglary was reported in the 100 block at 3:03 p.m. Friday.

PLACENTIA

* Camarillo Street: Identity fraud was reported in the 300 block at 3:05 p.m. Monday.

* West La Jolla Street: A stolen vehicle was reported in the 700 block at 5:22 p.m. Monday.

* Rogue Street: A petty theft was reported in the 1000 block at 10:38 a.m. Monday.

SANTA ANA

* West MacArthur: A Garden Grove man was arrested on suspicion of grand theft in the 2600 block at 2 p.m. Dec. 7. The suspect was caught switching the UPC tags on items at a Home Depot.

TUSTIN

* McFadden Avenue: Jewelry was reported stolen from a home in the 17000 block at 1:22 p.m. Saturday.

* East Main Street: A car was reported stolen in the 1000 block at 2:29 p.m. Saturday.

YORBA LINDA

* Eagles Nest Drive: A petty theft was reported in the 20900 block at 7:02 a.m. Sunday.

* Lakeview Avenue at Yorba Linda Boulevard: A noninjury traffic accident was reported at 11:52 a.m. Sunday.

* Plumosa Drive: A burglary was reported in the 4600 block at 8:59 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Tuesday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Seal Beach, Stanton, Villa Park and Westminster.
