Man’s Body Discovered in Remote Canyon
Los Angeles sheriff’s homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man whose body was found Sunday in a remote canyon area in the Santa Clarita Valley.
The unidentified man, believed to be between 20 and 25 years old, was found about 10 a.m. near Redview Drive and Golden Triangle Road, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman said.
It was unclear whether the man died of natural causes or as the result of an accident or foul play, authorities said. That determination will be made after an autopsy is completed.
Sheriff’s officials said the body was discovered by a Department of Water and Power employee checking an aqueduct pipeline in the area.
