A body found on a dirt road has been identified as that of Brian K. Pigors, authorities said Wednesday.

The cause of death of the 33-year-old Canyon Country man has not been established, said Scott Carrier, spokesman for the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

Pigors’ body was discovered about 10 a.m. Sunday near Redview Drive and Golden Triangle Road by a Los Angeles Department of Water and Power employee checking an aqueduct pipeline, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

He was found lying about 100 yards from a “No Trespassing” sign posted on a gate that blocks the dirt road, according to authorities.

The case is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau.
