ANAHEIM

* Riverside Freeway at Miraloma Avenue: Police Thursday talked a woman out of jumping to her death from a freeway bridge. Police received a report about 12:45 p.m. that a woman had been threatening to jump. After about 20 minutes, the woman agreed to climb back over a fence to safety. Police said she was taken to Western Medical Center-Anaheim for psychiatric evaluation.

* Pacific Avenue: Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 9000 block at 2:18 p.m. Jan. 25.

BREA

* West Lambert Road: Report of a traffic accident, no injuries, in the 100 block at 6:24 a.m. Wednesday.

BUENA PARK

* Somerset Street: A caller in the 5200 block reported at 8:34 a.m. Wednesday that someone had broken into the home during the night through the patio door and stolen a computer and other items.

COSTA MESA

* Pinecreek Drive: Two surfboards worth $825 were stolen from a car in the 2800 block during the night of Jan. 24.

CYPRESS

* Valley View Street: Report of a grand theft in the 10800 block at 3:04 p.m. Jan. 25. A Toshiba laptop computer was stolen.

* Valley View Street: Report of a burglarized blue Ford Aspire in the 9200 block at 5:09 p.m. Jan. 25. A $120 Panasonic portable CD player was stolen.

DANA POINT

* Crystal Lantern at Pacific Coast Highway: Report of a traffic collision, no injuries, at 3:13 p.m. Jan. 25.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Euclid Street: Report of a suspicious person in the 16000 block at 1:23 p.m. Tuesday.

* Brookhurst Street: A man walking his dog saw graffiti painted all over the Tiburon West condominium complex in the 18300; reported at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 24.

FULLERTON

* South Richman Avenue: Report of an auto burglary in the 200 block at 7:44 a.m. Jan. 25.

GARDEN GROVE

* Gilbert Street at Garden Grove Boulevard: A man was booked on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine at 1 a.m. Thursday. During a routine traffic stop, police saw pieces of methamphetamine falling off the driver’s clothing.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Pacific Coast Highway: A South Carolina resident allegedly jumped naked from a motel balcony in the 16200 block into a trash dumpster and broke his ankle at 4:30 a.m. Thursday. It took several officers to subdue the man. Paramedics took him to UCI Medical Center in Orange. Police suspect the man was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Charges are pending.

* 22nd Street: A Jaguar worth $5,000 was reported stolen from the 200 block at 7:30 a.m. Jan. 25.

* Main Street at Promenade Parkway: A lumber store was burglarized and $10,000 worth of goods was stolen; reported at 7:38 a.m. Jan. 25.

* Carnaby Lane: Twenty children were fighting in the street in the 18200 block at 12:01 a.m. Jan. 25.

IRVINE

* Trovita: Someone entered a residence through the rear sliding door and stole a Nintendo 64, miscellaneous games, movies and cash; reported at 2:37 p.m. Wednesday.

* Veneto: A 1998 two-door Acura Integra was reported stolen from the 200 block at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Pacific Coast Highway: A fight was reported between two men who pulled their cars over on the shoulder in the 8000 block Wednesday, according to police reports. The men started arguing when they got out of the cars and the confrontation became physical shortly afterward. One man suffered a cut on his lip. Both men were arrested.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Barents Street: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 25000 block at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Crown Valley Parkway at Niguel Road: A hit-and-run was reported at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday. A person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Police are investigating.

LA HABRA

* West La Habra Boulevard: Four people were cited for inhaling nitrous oxide from balloons in the 500 block at 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

* West Imperial Highway: Report of a residential burglary in the 1900 block at 1:28 a.m. Jan. 24.

* Arder Court: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 25000 block at 1:02 p.m. Tuesday.

LA PALMA

* Orangethorpe Avenue: A resident in the 5600 block reported a credit card had been stolen and used at 8:10 p.m. Jan. 24.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Katella Avenue: The driver’s-side window of a white Ford truck was smashed and a CD player stolen near Winner’s Circle at 5:52 p.m. Thursday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Los Alisos Boulevard: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 23000 block at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Superior Avenue: Someone tried to break into two cars parked in a parking garage in the 1400 block during the evening of Jan. 25.

ORANGE

* Orange Freeway, north of Orangewood Avenue: A two-vehicle crash in the southbound lanes at 11:58 a.m. Thursday backed up traffic for about 45 minutes. A 4-year-old, who was in a car seat in the back seat, suffered minor injuries. Investigators say both vehicles were traveling at the speed limit.

* North Bradford Avenue: Report of assault and battery in the 100 block at 4:20 p.m. Thursday; a fight broke out near the front counter at Rosa’s Pizza.

* East Miraloma Avenue: Report of a petty theft in the 600 block at 2 p.m.; an ATM card was stolen.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Avenida Cabrillo: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 300 block at 9:04 a.m. Tuesday.

* Seal Beach Boulevard: Two women were arrested on suspicion of check forgery at a bank at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 24.

* Jocotal Avenue: Report of a disturbance in the 18000 block at 4:24 p.m. Jan. 25.

WESTMINSTER

* 23rd Street: A 13-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery in the 8300 block at 3:13 p.m. Jan. 24.

YORBA LINDA

* Oakcrest Avenue: A report of a petty theft in the 22000 block at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday.
