VILLA PARK
Pacific Bell has donated $1,000 to the city to help defray its costs for holiday decorations placed at Villa Park’s only shopping center in December.
The council approved spending $10,450 on the decorations since the shopping center’s 13 owners agreed to contribute money. The city has spent about $29,700 for the decorations, and to date, about half of the owners have paid their contributions, city officials said.
