Hanebutt Leads Texas Tech
Rene Hanebutt, who scored a career-high 33 points against Nebraska three days ago, had 27 Wednesday night to lead No. 11 Texas Tech to an 83-71 victory over Colorado at Boulder, Colo.
Texas Tech (24-3, 13-2 Big 12) had to rally to overcome Colorado (13-12, 6-9), which made nearly 60% of its shots to lead, 38-33, at halftime.
The Lady Raiders, whose field-goal shooting was only 30% (11 for 36) in the first half, outshot Colorado, 63% to 41% in the second half.
No. 22 Kansas 79, Oklahoma State 72--The Jayhawks made all eight of their free throws in overtime to win at Stillwater, Okla.
Lynn Pride scored 28 points to lead Kansas (21-7, 11-4). Oklahoma State (12-13, 4-11) shot 53% (26 for 49) for the game.
Jennifer Crow sent the game into overtime for Oklahoma State by making two free throws with six seconds left.
