Tunes Are Gospel

Melba Moore, left, Vicki Winans and the Clara Ward Singers are among more than 30 nationally touring gospel acts appearing at Disneyland for a three-day gospel music festival starting tonight at 6. Performances, including a tribute to gospel’s venerable Dixie Hummingbirds, will be in the Fantasyland Theatre through Sunday. Orange County will be represented by the Yorba Linda Gospel Ensemble, which last fall won the 1998 McDonald’s Gospel Fest Competition, sponsored by Disneyland.
